Association
Like every dormitory in Aachen we are self-managed. That means we manage our common rooms ourselves, decide who can move in and also the internet is in our hands. To implement this effectively we have founded a registered association in 2023.
The central rules of our non-profit association Bayernallee 7 e.V. are in the bylaws. This describes, for example, which meetings we hold or how the composition of the board is. But also what kind of memberships we have. Beside the bylaws there are also rules of procedure which serve as a supplement to the statute. Since with change of the statute this must be registered again into the register of associations, this permits to us somewhat more clearance. Our financial rules regulate among other things how we manage the funds.
